Katie Carpenter

Katie Carpenter – GPG Task Force, Co-Founder PGA Green

Katie is an award-winning documentary producer, specializing in environmental subjects from endangered species to climate change in diverse habitats around the world. Her film projects include Chasing the Thunder, A Year on Earth, Battle for the Elephants, Ocean Warriors and Race to Save the Planet. She was trained as a Climate Reality Leader by Al Gore and The Climate Reality Project, and was a founder of Green Media Solutions.

She is currently a climate communications consultant with Resilient Enterprise Solutions,  advocating for climate adaptation policies including flood-proofing, elevations and living shorelines for coastal communities. She lives with her two daughters in South Florida.

Lydia Pilcher - GPG Task Force, Co-Founder PGA Green

Lydia Dean Pilcher is founder of the New York based production company, Cine Mosaic. She is a two time Emmy Award winner and Oscar nominated producer of over 40 feature films with auteur directors including Gina Prince-Bythewood, Wes Anderson, Barry Levinson, Ritesh Batra, Kathryn Bigelow, George Wolfe, and eleven films in a longstanding collaboration with internationally acclaimed director Mira Nair. Their recent work includes the feature, “Queen of Katwe” for Disney and the upcoming mini-series set in India, “A Suitable Boy” based on the novel by Vikram Seth for BBC/Netflix.

Pilcher has worked extensively in the international realm and is inspired by themes of cultural perception, climate change activism, and social justice. She began her career directing documentaries and in 2018 she co-directed the upcoming feature, "Radium Girls," starring Joey King and Abby Quinn. Recently she directed the feature, "Liberté –A Call to Spy," a female-driven World War II spy thriller based on the true stories of Noor Inayat Khan,Vera Atkins, and Virgina Hall, releasing Fall 2020 with IFC Films.

Mari Jo Winkler - GPG Task Force, Co-Founder PGA Green

MARI JO WINKLER is a NY- based film and television Producer. She is currently executive producing the first season of the FX series Y: The Last Man. She previously executive produced the feature films Stillwater (dir: Tom McCarthy),The Goldfinch (dir: John Crowley) and The Only Living Boy in New York (dir: Marc Webb). In addition, she produced the first season of the HBO series Vinyl, executive produced The Dictator, Premium Rush, Fair Game, Away We Go, Dan In Real Life and co-produced No Reservations, Lucky You, In Her Shoes and Shall We Dance.

Winkler is a dedicated environmentalist and activist, who, through her work as co-founder and former Co-Chair of the PGA Green and co-founder and task force member of GreenProductionGuide.com, promotes sustainable production practices and climate messaging through storytelling.

In 2017, she received the City & State of NY CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) award for Sustainability & Environmental Impact. Winkler is currently on the board of The Producer’s Guild of America East (PGA) and is the recipient of the 2019 PGA Charles FitzSimons Award for her service to the guild.

Shahnti Olcese Brook – GPG Task Force, PGA Green West

Shahnti is an Emmy and Peabody Award winning producer bringing over twenty years of experience developing and producing popular variety/entertainment, news and live shows for prominent TV and digital media networks including NBC, PBS and Otter Media. Shahnti has booked, interviewed and/or coached over 10,000 celebrities and guided the careers and brands of some of the world’s top influencers.

Shahnti volunteers her time with the Producers Guild of America of which she has been a proud member since 2005. In 2018 she was trained as a Climate Reality Leader by Al Gore and The Climate Reality Project. Shahnti works as part of the PGA’s Steering Committee for GreenProductionGuide.com and has been devoted to PGA Green since its start. She lives in Granada Hills with her husband and teacup Maltese.

Stephanie Dawson – Co-Chair, PGA Green East

Stephanie Dawson is a freelance production professional in the areas of narrative, reality, and branded content. For the past few years, she has focused on short form branded content for such companies as Courageous Studio, Vayner Media, Inception Creative, and Golden Arm. Prior to that, she worked on independent feature films including Blood Bound, Jamie Marks is Dead, and Kelly & Cal. She also worked on unscripted content such as House Hunters International and The Amazing Race.

Dawson strives to make good content that tells the stories of underrepresented people, in a responsible and sustainable way, while training the next generation of film professionals.

Dawson is the co-chair of the PGA Green Committee, a founding member of Women Independent Producers and is a member of Independent Filmmaker Project, Film Independent, and New York Women in Film & Television (NYWIFT).

Kati Johnston – Co-Chair, PGA Green East

Kati Johnston has been producing film and television for over thirty years. Born and raised in New York, she moved to Chicago to study theatre and later film and television. It was there she started working in commercials, eventually moving back to New York specializing in location work. After spending a few years in accounting when her children were young, she was promoted to producer on the long running series “Law & Order. She has worked in almost every genre and budget of motion pictures and has consistently worked to eliminate industry waste. Her most recent credits include Bull, Limitless, Blue Bloods, A Little Bit of Heaven, The Imagination Movers, and Naked Brothers. She is an advocate of green building practices and sustainable production.

Jon Michael Kondrath – Co-Chair, PGA Green West

Jon Michael Kondrath – Co-Chair, PGA Green West

Jon is a Los Angeles based Producer and founder of ReKon Productions, an independent production company with a full-service facility for independent storytellers.  Jon led the charge to make ReKon Productions a Culver City Sustainable Business and a member of The California Green Business Network.

Jon is also a DGA UPM and works often as a Line Producer.  Most recently Jon produced (and received the PGA mark for) the feature film The Hyperions which attended the Cannes Virtual Film Market.  During production, Jon spearheaded the film's green practices, then applied for and earned an EMA Green Seal for the film.  Besides feature films, Jon's producing credits include TV pilots, digital series, commercials, music videos, and branded content.

Lesley Lopez – Co-Chair, PGA Green West

Lesley is a Los Angeles based Producer and partner at ReKon Productions, an independent production company with a full-service facility for independent filmmakers.  The company produces an average of 50 projects a year as well as providing filmmakers with creative development, post-production and sales, and distribution services and support along with equipment and studio rentals. ReKon Productions is certified as Culver City Sustainable Business and is a member of The California Green Business Network.

Lesley has served in a multitude of production roles for the last decade including Producer and Production Manager. Her projects encompass a wide range of content including feature films The Hyperions, and Detention, digital content such as Facebook Watch’s The Worst Travel Show and Devolver Digital’s E3 Press Conference (2019, 2020), and television projects Journey to the East and Artbound: Invisible Cities. She has been an active member of PGA Green, West since 2015 and enjoys finding ways to make green and sustainable practices accessible to everyday production practices.
